This is the first time I’ve tried my hand at creating a comic book series. This is what I love about the world today. There is nothing impossible. Anybody can do anything.
I have to admit that I have blogged quite a few times in my life. Years ago, from 2003 I blogged anonymously (for some strange reason) on http://labyrinths.blogspot.com/ for a couple of years. Then in 2016, I tried my hand at these 1-2 lined prose. Read them on http://shrej.blogspot.com/. Between 2003 and 2016 I may have created a couple of more blogs but didn’t quite sustain it. Life has a way of getting in the way. Anyway, I digress. While I have written quite a bit in my life, this is the first time I have tried a comic strip. And it is quite a bit of fun. It is called Emojional Quotient.
I posted my first ever strip on my own Instagram page which is about all my many loves:
I soon created an Instagram account for the comic series, and am currently posting there. AND I have also bought a domain (shows some commitment, eh?) but I haven’t activated that yet.
Emojional Quotient is a play on Emotional Quotient and Emoji (you may have noticed that my characters are all emoji faced). It’s a rather obvious play of words, though I do find myself having to explain it to people.
